ABOUT REIMBURSEMENT TRACKER

What is Reimbursement Tracker?

Reimbursement Tracker is a service offered by iData Research. Our dedicated reimbursement team reviews health insurance policies from all the major U.S. insurance companies for a particular procedure or procedures and provides updates to clients regarding any changes to the policies. Changes may include: reimbursement rates, coding, definition of procedure and scope of indications covered.

How does it work?

iData Research's reimbursement team will review each insurance company's policies for the requested procedure on a daily basis. This search is performed manually by the junior reimbursement team and through the use of proprietary tools and software systems. Any policy changes are then passed on to the senior reimbursement team who reviews the changes and determines if they are a relevant update. These updates are then summarized and sent to the customer via email with a direct link to the policy update for reference.

Can you search by ICD-9/CPT/HCPCS codes?

These codes are often included as part of each insurance company's policy for a procedure. For example, in some cases an ICD code may correspond to several procedures. As such, we do not use ICD coding as the primary basis for finding the relevant policies we are tracking.
